I have a question regarding masking. Once the mask is applied I loose the opportunity to interact with the object being masked - the mask is on top of it. Is there a workaround for that?
@IB: Hmm, let me clarify: I don't have time to do this investigation, and probably won't for the forseeable future. You would be far better off (in general, not just for this one question) posting such questions on one of the Adobe Flex forums, or on the flexcoders Yahoo group; there are lots of Flex developers (Adobe and non-Adobe) that can help.

@Igor: Sorry, I don't know this off-hand and would have to play with masks to see how it works (which I won't have a chance to do right now).
